A Conference in Honour of Walter Schachermayer — Vienna University, July 12-16, 2010

Conference Dinner

Wednesday, July 14, 2010, Lusthaus im Prater

The Lusthaus (a literal translation would be "house of joy") was originally a hunters lodge built for the nobility at the imperial court more than 200 years ago. It is in the heart of the Prater, the Viennese equivalent to Bois de Boulogne or Central Park. (By the way: Philip Protter derives his name from this park).
We shall organize some transport to this venue, but the sporty participants can also enjoy the 4 km walk through the "Prater Hauptalle", the favorite jogging mile in Vienna.
We shall also enjoy music of varied style provided by the K&K String Quartett.
