Abstract: By studying the geometry of stereographic projection, Branson constructed the complementary series of SO(1,n). Together with Astengo and Di Blasiom I have extended this to SU(1,n), Sp(1,n), and F_{4,-20}; the latter groups give uniformly bounder rather than unitary representations.
