Abstract: In the talk I will introduce what singularities are in the setting of algebraic supervarieties. In course of the talk I will discuss the necessary ingredients from the theory of commutative superrings. I will end the talk with some remarks on a result of R. Fioresi, which says that each algebraic supergroup is in fact a Lie supergroup, that is, smooth.
