Development and distinguished curves for Cartan geometries

Abstract:
Classical notion of the development of curves easily generalizes to the wide
class of Cartan geometries.
This construction naturally distinguishes curves on the base manifold in terms
of their developments into the homogeneous model of the geometry in question.
We will demonstrate the construction itself and some its nice consequences.
