Abstract: The interactions between a residually finite group and its box spaces have been extensively studied over the years. It can be traced back to the 70's when Margulis proved (in modern formulation) that the box space of a residually finite group with Kazdhan's property (T) is an expander. Since then, a lot of group properties have found counterparts in metric properties of their box-spaces. Property A has been introduced by Guoliang Yu in connection with the coarse Baum-Connes conjecture. We investigate if property A for a residually finite group can be seen at the level of the box-space. We propose two different properties, Fibred property A and property A at infinity. We will discuss their relations and treat some concrete examples.
