The DIANA seminar

The seminar is an informal forum where members of the DIANA group meet to discuss topics of interest. We meet on a weekly basis. The programme for these meetings will be advertised below, and by email.

In addition to scheduled presentations, the plan this semester is to study Chapters 10 and 11 of the book Lectures on the geometry of manifolds by Liviu I. Nicolaescu (World Scientific Publishing, second edition, 2007). This book may be purchased via any reputable bookseller. Alternatively, the pdf file is available directly from Prof. Nicolaescu's webpages (article number 9 on his list of publications).

If you wish to give a talk in the seminar, or to be added to our email list, please contact either guenther.hoermann@univie.ac.at or roland.steinbauer@univie.ac.at.

With the exception of the talk on December 4, all talks will be held at 10.15am in Seminarraum D.103. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
