Location and time
The Séminaire will take place at the Bundesinstitut für Erwachsenenbildung (BIFEB) in Strobl/Wolfgangsee:

from Sunday, September 9, 2018 (evening) to Wednesday, September 12, 2018 (afternoon).
Participants are expected to arrive for dinner on Sunday and leave after lunch on Wednesday.
If you intend to come, please fill out the participation form.
Accommodation
Since there is only a limited number of rooms available (especially in BIFEB), we want to encourage people to share rooms (if at all possible).
There are three recommended possibilities for housing:
- BIFEB: 30 single rooms and 10 double rooms (also available as single use), for pricing see Bundesinstitut für Erwachsenenbildung - Preise
- Kirchenwirt: 4 double rooms with a mountain view including breakfast at EUR 98,00 or as single use at EUR 60,00 plus local tax EUR 1,90; 4 single rooms in the "Ziehrerhaus", including breakfast at EUR 45,00 plus local tax EUR 1,90
- Youhey: 19 single rooms including breakfast at EUR 44,00 plus local tax EUR 1,90
For lunch and dinner, the BIFEB is available at EUR 12,50 per meal (to be paid immediately).
How to get there
By plane
Airport Munich
From the Munich Airport take S-Bahn S1 or S8 to München Hauptbahnhof (train departures every 10 min, travel time: about 45 min). At München Hauptbahnhof take a train to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (travel time: 2h). In Salzburg you switch to bus number 150 to Strobl (see section Salzburg Hauptbahnhof below).
At Munich Airport you can also rent a car. A list of car rental companies situated at the Munich Airport can be found here.
Salzburg Airport
From Salzburg Airport take bus number 2 or 27 to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof where you switch to bus number 150 to Strobl (see section Salzburg Hauptbahnhof below).
At Salzburg Airport you can also rent a car. A list of car rental companies situated at the Salzburg Airport can be found here.
Vienna International Airport
From Vienna International Airport you can take a bus (see Vienna Airport Lines) to Wien Hauptbahnhof where you change from bus to train to Attnang-Puchheim (see section Wien Hauptbahnhof below).
Alternatively, you could take a train to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (see section Salzburg Hauptbahnhof below).
At Vienna International Airport you can also rent a car. A list of car rental companies situated at the Vienna International Airport can be found here.
There is also the possibility to book a shuttle from the airport to Strobl. (Pricing is per vehicle, so maybe some group of people can book a ride together).
Alternatively, you might take a taxi to Salzburg.
By train
For detailed information, have a look at the time table provided by the Austrian Railway Company.
Wien Hauptbahnhof or Linz Hauptbahnhof
Take any train to Attnang-Puchheim. The trip takes about 2 hours 20 minutes from Vienna and about 45 Minutes from Linz.
Alternatively, take any train to Salzburg (see section Salzburg Hauptbahnhof below).
Attnang-Puchheim
Take any train to Bad Ischl. The trip takes about 1 hour. Switch from train to bus to Salzburg (see section Bad Ischl Bahnhof below).
By bus
Salzburg Hauptbahnhof
The bus terminal is right across the train station. Take bus number 150 to Bad Ischl Bahnhof and get off at Strobl Busbahnhof (after about 1 hour 15 minutes).
Bad Ischl Bahnhof
The bus terminal is close to the train station. Take bus number 150 or number 2560 to Salzburg and get off at Strobl Busbahnhof (after about 25 minutes).
BIFEB also provides a shuttle service from the bus station Strobl to BIFEB for free Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If interested please contact the reception desk at BIFEB directly.
Walking distance from Strobl Busbahnhof to BIFEB is approximately 10 minutes.
