Combinatorics of the Categories of Noncrossing Partitions
Abstract.
We obtain an alternative combinatorial description of Igusa's cubical
categories of noncrossing partitions, using various classes of
trees. We also count the morphisms in these categories, according to
the ranks of the source and target objects.
