The Belgian Kings in Strobl

King Leopold III. of Belgium (1901 - 1983; full name: Léopold Philippe Charles Albert Meinrad Hubertus Marie Miguel (French), respectively Leopold Filips Karel Albert Meinrad Hubertus Maria Miguel (Flemish)) was brought as a prisoner to Strobl in March 1945, together with his family, including his sons Baudouin (1930 - 1993; full name: Baudouin Albert Charles Léopold Axel Marie Gustave, respectively Boudewijn Albert Karel Leopold Axel Marie Gustaaf (Flemish); later King Baudouin I. of Belgium) and Albert (1934 - ; full name: Albert Félix Humbert Théodore Christian Eugène Marie (French), respectively Albert Felix Humbert Theodoor Christiaan Eugène Marie (Flemish), respectively Albert Felix Humbert Theodor Christian Eugen Maria (German); the current King Albert II. of Belgium), and held there in the Hotel Seethurn until May 7, 1945, when American troops went into Strobl and liberated the prisoners.
