Research: My area of research is the analysis of local interaction of boundary layers with a transonic outer flow in narrow channels. The structure of the flow field in the interaction region is of the type of a tripple-deck, for each deck a system of partial differential equations is derived from the constitutive equations using the method of matched asymptotic expansion. Real gas effects are included and the system is studied numerically.
