Title: "A hyperbolic model for cubulable groups."
Speaker: Anthony Genevois (Université Aix-Marseille/Universität Wien)
Abstract: It has been recently proved by Abbott, Behstock and Durham that any cubulable group (ie., any group acting geometrically on some CAT(0) cube complex) admits a universal acylindrical action on some hyperbolic space. However, the proof, which is based on the formalism of hierarchically hyperbolic spaces, does not provide an explicit construction of this action. The goal of my talk is to propose a simple and explicit model for such an action.
