Abstract:

Parts I&II will be an introduction to quasimorphisms and a detailed investigation of Brooks' counting quasimorphisms on free groups.

Parts III&IV will generalize Brooks' quasimorphisms to groups acting on CAT(0) cube complexes. I will start by giving a crash course on CAT(0) cube complexes.
