HOW TO GET THERE?

Kranjska Gora sits in the northwestern corner of Slovenia, close to the borders with Austria and Italy.

The nearest airport is Ljubljana Jože Pučnik. Other major nearby airports are Vienna International Airport, Trieste Airport, Venice Marco Polo Airport and Franjo Tuđman International Airport Zagreb.

Kranjska Gora is most easily reached by bus. From Ljubljana take the Arriva bus from Ljubljana Bus Station (Ljubljana avtobusna postaja) in the direction "Rateče Planica" and disembark in Kranjska Gora. This bus also stops notably in Kranj and Jesenice. The hotel is approximately a 10 minute walk from the bus stop.

Those travelling by train either through Ljubljana from the south or Villach (Beljak) from the north should change to the above bus route in Jesenice (the bus stops outside the train station).

GoOpti offers private or shared shuttle transfers from all major airports in the region. Booking in advance is essential.
