Affine transitions for involution Stanley symmetric functions

Abstract. We define a new family of Stanley symmetric functions for affine involutions and study the basic properties of these power series. After classifying the covering relations in the Bruhat order of the affine symmetric group restricted to involutions, we prove an affine transition formula for involution Stanley symmetric functions.
