Preface

The 65th Meeting of the Séminaire Lotharingien de Combinatoire took place from September 12 to 15, 2010, in the Bundesinstitut für Erwachsenenbildung in Strobl (Austria). It was already the second time that the Séminaire met there at the Wolfgangsee.

Two series of main lectures were given by

Manuel KAUERS
"Inequalities"
and
Andrea SPORTIELLO
"Around the Razumov-Stroganov Correspondence."

The topics of the contributed talks (see the detailed list below) ranged from classical combinatorics, computer algebra, combinatorial algebraic geometry, to statistical physics. As is traditional, we enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere at the Séminaire, interesting discussions, and we took advantage of the lovely surroundings during the lunch breaks. Unfortunately, although weather was largely pleasant, it was not really inviting enough to take a swim in the lake ...

Contributed talks:

Omar FODA: Izergin-Korepin-Kuperberg Partition Functions and Integrable Hierarchies

António GUEDES DE OLIVEIRA: Parking Functions and Labeled Trees

Tony GUTTMANN: Lattice Green Functions in Higher Dimensions

Masao ISHIKAWA: A Pfaffian Analogue of the q-Catalan Hankel Determinant

Matthieu JOSUAT-VERGÈS: Enumeration of snakes

Masato KOBAYASHI: Enumeration of Bigrassmannian Permutations Below a Permutation in Bruhat Order

Christoph KOUTSCHAN: The Proof of the q-TSPP Conjecture

Hoang NGOC MINH: On the Arithmetical Nature of Euler's Constant
