Préface
The 67th Meeting of the Séminaire Lotharingien de Combinatoire
took place from September 18 to September 21, 2011 in the
University Centre of Bertinoro (Italy). For the sixth time the
meeting was joint with the Incontro Italiano di Combinatoria
Algebrica, for which it was the 17th session.
The scientific program of the meeting was devoted both
to recent developments in combinatorics, and to applications to
other areas of mathematics.
The invited speakers were Mireille BOUSQUET-MÉLOU (Université Bordeaux 1) "Enumeration with `catalytic' parameters: a survey," and Elvira DI NARDO (Università della Basilicata)
"Symbolic methods in probability and in statistics."
