Préface

The 75th Meeting of the Séminaire Lotharingien de Combinatoire took place from September 6 to September 9, 2015 in the University Centre of Bertinoro (Italy). For the eighth time the meeting was joint with the Incontro Italiano di Combinatoria Algebrica, for which it was the 20th session. The scientific program of the meeting was devoted both to recent developments in combinatorics, and to applications to other areas of mathematics.

The invited speakers were Bruno BENEDETTI (University of Miami) "Some Recent Aspects of Polytope Theory," and Peter BÜRGISSER (Freie Universität Berlin) "Permanent versus Determinant, Obstructions, and Kronecker Coefficients." Both of them let us enjoy fascinating, lively lectures.
